Our client required a 40'x40' Class 10,000 rigid wall cleanroom without any internal support posts. By using three overhead beams, we were able to achieve the objective. The overhead beams carry the weight of the ceiling. The fan powered HEPA filters pull the air from the conditioned space and create the clean space inside the walls. The project was completed in 7 working days. Two weeks after completing the room, our client decided to expand the room by 8' and add an external gowning room. The lexan panels were removed from one wall and additional side panel were added. Next the original panels were re-installed and the room had grown by 8'.
