Rigid Wall Room

A pharmaceutical manufacturer wanted a softwall cleanroom but was concerned with the durability of vinyl curtains. Using our standard structural frame, lexan panels were used instead of vinyl curtains. The result was a custom design cleanroom that exceeded our client's expectations. The project allowed the manufacturer to convert an existing non-cleanroom area into cleanroom space. Fan powered HEPA filters deliver clean air into the space which circulates through the room and exits at the bottom of the panels. Using the lexan panels also allows using a rigid door with a closer instead of strip curtains. The rigid panels dictate that all traffic into the cleanroom is through the door as opposed to separating a curtain in a vinyl enclosure. The lexan panels can be removed when access for moving equipment into the cleanroom is needed.
