Above the Rigidwall Cleanroom

The space above the ceiling of a Rigidwall cleanroom is filled with components. Both the fan powered HEPA filters and the cleanroom light fixtures are wired together and terminate in a control panel. This arrangement means that the electrician only has to bring power to a single point - the control panel. This photo also shows the fire sprinkler system and an emergency exit door. Note that the door has a full, clear panel and is structurally heavy duty. This door has a panic bar installed on the inside to allow an exit from the room but does not allow access into the room. All personnel traffic must go through the gowning room.
