Eliminating Cross Contamination

Our client had to prevent cross contamination between six Class 1,000 individual rooms which open into a Class 10,000 common area. Roll-up doors are not normally seen in cleanrooms but for this application they were used very successfully. A key concern for this application was the prevention of cross contamination between six rooms. Due to space restrictions, each room was equipped with a roll-up door to allow access to equipment that had to be handled with a pallet jack. Each room was pressurized and each door was interlocked to prevent two doors from being opened simultaneously. By installing the modular cleanroom, our client was able to obtain a significant contract. Due to the success of this installation, Contamination Solutions was chosen for a second project three years after the first installation.
