Side access carbon housings use either 1" or 2" carbon trays. Carbon housings are used to remove odors from the air stream. The housings are available with prefilter tracks to protect the carbon and post filter tracks to prevent any carbon dust from getting downstream. Carbon filters are normally arranged in a v-bank configuration to increase surface area. The housing can be epoxy coated for use in corrosive atmospheres. Construction of the carbon housings is consistent in features and options with the other side access housings.
