The Aerostar AQF filter by Filtration Group was developed from media created for the garments for troops who might encounter chemical warfare during Desert Storm. The manufacturing process bonds carbon particules to the filter media which creates a large surface area to interact with chemical odors. The filter is available in 2", 4", 6" and 12" depths in beverage board, plastic and metal casing. The large surface area correlates into low initial resistance. A 24x24x12 filter can handle 2,000 cfm at an initial resistance of 0.36" w.g.
