Biosafety and chemotherapy workstations are available in many sizes and configurations.  Both are designed to protect the person using the hood. In order for Chemotherapy hoods to comply with USP Chapter 797 and NIOSH, the hood must be located in a ISO Class 7 negative pressure cleanroom environment and ducted to the outside. Germfree hoods are manufactured in stainless steel.
